Nehemiah 9:17 וימאנו And refused לשׁמע to obey, ולא neither זכרו were mindful נפלאתיך of thy wonders אשׁר that עשׂית thou didst עמהם among ויקשׁו them; but hardened את ערפם their necks, ויתנו appointed ראשׁ a captain לשׁוב to return לעבדתם to their bondage: במרים and in their rebellion ואתה but thou אלוה a God סליחות ready to pardon, חנון gracious ורחום and merciful, ארך slow אפים to anger, ורב and of great וחסד kindness, ולא them not. עזבתם׃ and forsookest
